The grammar thing keeps trying to correct “More Free” to “Freer” and if that is not the name of the next season then they really missed out on an opportunity.
The summer of 2013 was a lot of things for me. First of all, it was my last summer of high school and the next summer I would have to get ready to go to college. Second of all, it marked the year of babysitting where I was so underpaid that I did not make enough money to pay for gas. Which also resulted in me getting chewed out by the mother of the said child when I told her I started watching other children when I was not watching hers to actually have a positive cash flow that summer. Otherwise, I was losing money. But that is not why we are talking about 2013. July of 2013 was the month I became a constant viewer of seasonal anime when a little show called Free!: Iwatobi Swim Club came out, and I fell in love with the idea of “sports anime”. So, today for Day 6 of 12 Days of Anime we are going to talk about Free! and its most recent sequels.
We are back today for Day 5 of 12 Days of Anime, and today we are talking about what your favorite character can do to change how you feel about a show.
Sometimes reading the manga and then watching the anime results in a lot of aggravation because of the constant reminder of things that they have glossed over. Sometimes you go into it hopeful because reading the manga left you really confused at times, and you hope the anime format may help clear some things up. (Ka-chan always hopes going into things). That is exactly what happened when I heard that Tokyo Ghoul:re was going to be animated. After watching both previous anime seasons, damn you Root A, I had jumped over to the manga side of things to see just what in the world happened after that ending.
An ending that you do not want to get me started on by the way.
We are within sight of the end guys! We are now on Day 11 of 12 Days of Anime, and Day 2 of the Top 5 lists to round out the year! Today we are going to look at my top 5 characters from the past year. This list was actually really hard for me to do because there were a lot of characters that I really liked this year, and one show in particular had an ENTIRE cast of characters that I really liked (for fun you can guess what show it was, and then see if you were correct when I mention it later on). Like I said, this took a lot of hard thinking on my part because there were quite a few characters that I really liked, and cutting it down to five made it even harder. These characters are in no specific order, but do beat out all the other characters from this past year. They also may not necessarily be the main character of their show, the only requirement being that I had to really like them.
So I have only done a few Top 5 lists so far but this is one I have been considering doing for a while. I have mentioned in previous posts that I love supporting, or background, characters sometimes more than I do the main characters. Throughout the years I have been watching anime, some side characters have truly captured my heart even when a bit overshadowed by the main cast. I know this is a Top 5 but I just cannot give them an actual rank. Just think of it of five of them that are all of equal value. I could probably make this list super long, so to save that I have limited it to only five and just some male characters. My favorite females list is for a different day.
Without further ado, here are my Top 5 Male Supporting Anime Characters
Hello guys!! Today’s Top 5 list brings us to the leading guys who make some of our hearts swoon or kick some serious butt! They are the ones that we get to spend a lot of time with and grow to love, or hate I guess. This list was a little hard for me to make, and I ended up having to not allow a lot of shows on this list because otherwise it would have just been a list filled with characters from two different shows. The characters that I picked today are my favorite males leads from the whole year, and I will tell you why I liked them so much. Today I bring you my Top 5 Male Leads of 2015!!
