Winter 2019 – Week 2 & 3

I combined weeks 2 and 3 because for some reason we have been having internet issues…again. It made not only watching anime difficult but also loading pretty much every webpage took forever. So here we are with two episodes for each show this week. Well except for one show. That is right everyone, the first dropped show of 2019 has already happened. Go ahead and guess which one it is going to be before you read it. Then let me know if you were right.

Winter 2019 – Week 1

The first week of the new season is here! Sort of. A few of these shows have multiple episodes wrapped up this week because I wanted to start week one when everything was airing, so some shows aired two episodes before this came out. Others aired two episodes right away so they already had multiple episodes out before some shows every started. So far with week one most of the shows seem pretty promising (excluding one) but I am very excited about what is to come.

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 11)

Oh my goodness gracious what a week of anime this has been. It is finally happening, crap is starting to hit the fan all at once. This week saw some laugher, some sadness, and some shocking surprises that I did not see coming. I will warn you, with one show this week I broke my rule of trying to remain as spoiler-free as possible, so proceed with caution. I saw some of you react to what happened on Twitter and I was not expecting what ended up happening. Also, two posts in one day are something that hardly ever happens here, so let’s bask in that for a moment………done? Let’s move on!

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 10)

Wow, this season is quickly coming to an end all of a sudden. I recently had the realization while in a conversation on Twitter that one of the big downsides to watching seasonal anime is that every show reaches its climax and ending at the same time. Sometimes if you are catching up on them all in one day, things will get real all at the same time. That can lead to some really emotional days. Really emotional. Anyway, we are nearing the end for three of these shows, Run With the Wind will go on through Winter 2019, so we have now reached the “things are getting real” point. Boy, I cannot wait to see how these shows end up finishing! 

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 9)

I was almost worried Double Decker was not coming out this week but then I realized that Funimation had mentioned some shows were being pushed back due to Thanksgiving. But nevertheless, this just had to come out a little later than expected while I nervously waited for it to come up. 

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 8)

How are we at week 8 already? That is crazy. Pretty soon I will have to go and find out what to watch for Winter 2019. How did that come up so fast? Anyway, we had a pretty good week of anime this week. There were a few annoying parts and a few wonderful ones, and overall the week was pretty good.  Three of the four episodes had a lot of build up for what is to come and it looks promising. But things could change so we will see.

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 6 & 7)

Hi ho, everybody! We are officially halfway through the season, through the most part. This week you get a post for the last two weeks due to my admission to the hospital thanks to a broken leg. Everything is back where it is supposed to be thanks to two plates and some screws, and since the week 6 post was mostly finished I decided it was pointless to just delete it and skip the week. So, you get two weeks worth this time. I will stop rambling now.

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 5)

Hahaha. Remember when I said this was going to come out on Monday because I was running behind? And the last two weeks when I would be adding a new show? Well, neither of those things happened! It has been…quite a week and I will not bore you with the details. One for sure thing is that this probably will not be the last weekly wrap-up to come out a few days late, but I promise I will keep putting out one a week. I can promise you that! Okay, that is enough of my nonsense.

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 4)

So we are one episode short this week so there are only three episodes that I am talking about today, and I will get to why we are one less when we get to that episode below. Like if you scroll down just a smidge it is right there. This week just made me feel more and more that I wished anime episodes were longer than about twenty-five minutes. I understand time constraints but with so many shows this season I just feel like I want more of them now and not have to wait until next week. 

Weekly Wrap-Up (Fall 2018-Week 3)

Guess what? There is a new show added this week! Can you guess which one it is? We are at four now and those are the ones I had planned to watch so far this season. However, there is one show I plan to catch up on this week that will be added next week if things go well and work does not drain me. Fingers crossed for that. I plan to have everything set in stone by week six, after which I doubt I will add anything more. But who knows honestly I can be so indecisive sometimes.
